Compass Worship Academy is a
Christ-centered formation academy
for ages 9–18 where students grow in their
artistic gifts and intentional
biblical discipleship while developing deep
spiritual identity in Christ.
What Compass Is
Compass Worship Academy exists to guide kids
and teens in worship, music, and
discipleship under the authority of God’s Word.
We believe formation comes before performance,
presence before excellence, and that Jesus
Christ alone sets the direction.
Who Is Compass For
Kids and Teens
Compass exists for kids and teens who
are growing in faith, creativity, and confidence.
Whether they are new to worship or already
serving, Compass forms students to lead
from a grounded heart—not pressure
or performance.

Compass partners with parents who want their
children rooted in Scripture, formed with care,
and guided toward Christ.
Our approach values safety, spiritual
formation, and steady growth—creating
a space families can trust.
What Students Experience
At Compass, students are guided through a
rhythm of discipleship, music training, and
worship formation.
Each week creates space for learning, creativity,
prayer, and growth—helping students develop
skill, confidence, and a deeper love for Christ.

Weekly Rhythm
Each Thursday, students move through a
steady rhythm that blends
discipleship, music training, creativity, and
worship practice.
The goal is growth with peace—guided,
not pressured.
A typical Compass session includes:
• Devotional & discipleship
• Instrument or vocal training
• Ensemble worship practice
• Songwriting & creativity lab
• Prayer and reflection
Outcomes
By the end of 12 weeks, students will
have grown in faith, skill, and confidence—ready
to serve with humility and joy.
Students will be able to:
• Lead a worship song with confidence
and sincerity
• Play or sing as part of a small worship team
• Write and share an original worship song
• Explain a biblical understanding of worship and
why it matters
• Serve in worship settings with maturity,
presence, and care

known, and cared for.
All instructors and volunteers are screened,
trained, and held to clear standards of
conduct.

Program Details
Program Structure
Compass Worship Academy is a 12-week
afterschool program designed
for kids and teens to grow in faith, musical
skill, and worship leadership.
Students meet weekly on Thursday afternoons
and are guided through
discipleship, music training, songwriting, and
worship practice in a
steady, supportive rhythm.
Ages & Format
Compass serves students ages 9–12 and
13–18, with age-appropriate
instruction and training tracks.
Programs are offered in person, with options
for online participation as
the academy grows.
