About Compass
Compass Worship Academy exists to guide kids
and teens into a deeper life of worship—formed
by Scripture, shaped through music, and
grounded in the presence of Christ.
Our Calling
Compass was born out of a burden for biblical
discipleship and a love for worship that flows
from a life surrendered to Christ.
We believe worship is not performance,
but formation—shaping hearts, minds, and lives
around the truth of God’s Word.

The Compass Founders
Daniel and Tami Orama serve as the founders
and lead stewards of Compass, a worship and
discipleship academy devoted to forming
children and teens to become worshipers
of God first, and musicians second. Together,
they bring decades of experience in
ministry, worship leadership, vocal and
instrumental training, and faith-based
formation.
Daniel serves as Music Pastor at Washington
Avenue Bible Church in Ephrata,
Pennsylvania, holds a Master of Arts in Music
and Worship Studies with honors, including
a Songwriting Cognate and is completing
doctoral studies in Worship Studies from
Liberty University.
Tami is a voice artist, vocal coach, and
co-founder of Vocal Pro Studios, with
extensive experience training young singers.
A bachelor’s degree in music from UCONN
and completed graduate-level studies
at Liberty University.
Married for 26 years and parents of two
daughters—both business majors at Lancaster
Bible College.
